Capt. Mohd Hilal O Al-Hilal is holding a B.S. Air Transport Management from UK in addition to his Airline Transport Pilot License (Fixed Wing and Helicopters), and a certificate in Management and Leadership from QLC. Captain AlHilal has a vast experience in the aviation industry (Rotor and Fixed Wing Operations) for more than 25 years. He joined Gulf Helicopters as a Helicopter Pilot in 1998, and had flown with Qatar Airways as a Fixed Wing Pilot in 2001-2003. Upon re-joining the company, Capt. Al Hilal has followed a career in Management, where he worked initially as a helicopter pilot ,instructor and then examiner , and later on took over the Chief Pilot position in the Company’s Private Category operations which operates not only regionally but also all across Europe. In January 2017, he was promoted as the Director of Operations to head the Commercial and the Executive Transport Operations of the Company.
Captain Alboainin has joined Gulf Helicopters Company as a cadet Pilot in 2006 with Mechanical Engineering background, and progressed in his career to become a Flight Instructor and Examiner. On a management level, Alboainin has occupied multiple leading roles in different departments such as, HEMS, Training and Flight Operations. His degree in Air Transport Management from Coventry University enhances his knowledge and capability in Aviation Management.
Mr. Colewell joined Gulf Helicopters Company in 2017 as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer. He has risen through the ranks to become the Acting Director of Engineer in October 2024.
He previously held the position of S92 Project Coordinator from 2017 to 2022, before becoming the Senior Maintenance Supervisor in 2022 until April 2023. He then took on the responsibility of Maintenance Manager since April 2023 and currently holds this position in addition to being the Acting Director of Engineering.
He brings to the table a vast wealth of experience of 23 years of Aviation Maintenance, in a multitude of technical, supervisory and management positions, throughout different geographical locations.
He holds a First-Class Honors degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
Capt. Abdulla Al Muhannadi, is a strong aviation professional having more than two decades of diverse exposure in the Aviation Industry. A Mechanical Engineer by profession, worked at Qatar Energy from 2001 to 2007, further accomplished his vision, joining Gulf Helicopters Company as a Helicopter Pilot in 2008 and proved himself as Skilled in Aeronautics. As a CFII [Certified Flight Instructor], He further ventured out in his educational career and efficaciously completed certification in B.S Air Transport Management from United Kingdom. Leading by his efficient, technical and strategic management skills is currently appointed as an Operations Manager – Private Category
Captain CKS Ahluwalia joined Gulf Helicopters in September 2011, bringing over two decades of aviation expertise. With a distinguished career in the Indian Army Aviation, he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, serving as an Aviation instructor and gaining invaluable leadership experience. Joining Gulf Helicopters as an offshore pilot, Captain Ahluwalia initially flew the B412 helicopter and then the AW139. His piloting skills and commitment to safety quickly made him a valuable asset. As Air Safety Officer and Safety Systems Manager, Captain Ahluwalia further solidified his reputation for ensuring operational excellence. In September 2024, Captain Ahluwalia transitioned to the Operations Management team, where he now serves as Operations Manager. His extensive aviation background, combined with a proven track record in safety, makes him an invaluable asset to Gulf Helicopters.
Markos Kandilakis joined Gulf Helicopters as Quality Assurance Engineer and promoted as Quality Assurance Manager in 2015. His career includes more than 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, both in major commercial airlines, Air Force and Hellenic Air Accidents Investigation and Safety Board. Over the years, Mr. Kandilakis gained good aviation experience cutting acorsss the varied functions of maintenance, safety, quality and investigation. He has completed his aircraft engineer course from Oxford Air Training School, U.K. and received his first license from U.K.C.A.A in Gas turbine Engines and Airplane II. His academic records comprise of accident prevention and investigation techniques in the aviation safety promotion as well as studies in auditing and total quality management. Markos holds an Masters degree in Quality Assurance.
Capt. Nizar Ayari is a highly motivated Aeronautical Engineer with nearly 20 years’ service in Tunisian Air Force as Instructor Pilot and Flight Safety Officer where he attained the rank of Major and gained aviation management experience. Capt. Nizar joined Gulf Helicopters in June 2023 as Air Safety Officer and appointed as Safety Systems Manager in June 2024, he is holding Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Executive MBA and attended various safety courses related to SMS, Helideck inspections and H-LOSA.
Mr. Shea Brown joined Gulf Helicopters Company’s Engineering department in December 2019 as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer for an outstation project. Excelling within the Engineering department, he was promoted within the outstation to the role of Maintenance Manager, overseeing all technical and operational matters. With more than 19 years of aviation experience Mr. Brown has risen through the engineering ranks, gaining a wealth of knowledge across multiple aircraft and regulatory environments. In October 2023 he was transferred to Gulf Helicopters Company’s CAMO and is currently serving as the Company's Continuing Airworthiness Manager, Mr. Brown is responsible for the management and supervision of all Gulf Helicopter Company’s airworthiness activities.
