    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    Description

    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize stores, logistics, and facilities operations, including inventory management, distribution, transportation, and facility maintenance.
    • Supervise and lead a team of stores, logistics, and facilities staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and efficiency.
    • Oversee the planning and coordination of inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
    • Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, goods, and products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
    • Coordinate transportation logistics, including route planning, carrier selection, and freight cost optimization, to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize risks to staff and facilities.
    • Develop, monitor and analyses key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to procurement, CAMO, engineering, commercial, business development and sales to ensure alignment and integration of stores, logistics, and facilities operations with overall business objectives.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in stores, logistics, and facilities management, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for goods and services and Monitor contract performance and enforce terms and conditions as needed.
    • Coordinate with the stores and the engineering departments to maintain optimum level of inventory based on review of issues and below minimum reports on a regular basis
    • Ensure timely receipt and delivery of the parts and resolve any logistics related issues.
    • Ensure full compliance to local and international laws.
    • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, pricing, and improve, or identify alternative suppliers.
    • Negotiate prices and terms of conditions for the services and goods to be procured to ensure that GHC’s interests are best represented, and best offers are received.
    • Ensure the delivery of goods purchased as well as liaise with vendors to resolve any logistics related issues.
    • Act immediately on AOG conditions.
    • Document transactions on the material accounting system and ensure proper controls and approvals are in place.
    • Ensure management of life limited items.
    • Ensure management of calibration requirements.
    • Analyze logistics, stores, and facility management data, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and market trends, to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive strategic decision-making.
    • Develop and implement of procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to establish and manage budgets.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of operations from logistics, storage, and facility management perspective.
    • Ensure that all storage, logistics, and facility management activities comply with aviation regulations and internal policies.
    • Manage establishment of warehouse(s) in accordance with latest aviation warehouse practices.
    • Continuously improve technical skills in GHC MRP and ERP systems.
    • Identify areas for improvement within stores, logistics, and facility management processes and implement improvements.

    Qualifications, Experience & Skills

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
    • Post Graduate Degree will be an added advantage.
    • Professional certification from relevant institutions will be an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems as well as M.S. Excel, M.S. Word, and M.S. Power Point and other tools.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in stores, logistics, or facilities management, or a related field, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.

    Job Objective

    Manage the Goods Receiving area in stores and ensure all established procedures are met.

    Job Objective

    Ensure smooth running of Stores Department and to provide Stores support to all GHC personnel.

     

    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    Description

    •     Supervision of Stores’ personnel.
    •     Update the Stores Records in the Falcon System.
    •     Create the GRN’s for items received on either Purchase or Repair Orders.

    Job Objective

    Responsible for providing support to Doha main base, out station operations and to support Engineering Management by oversight of all aspects of engineering, to ensure efficient, cost effective and safe activities are maintained at all times.

    Job Objective

    GHTA Simulator Flight Instructor (SFI) is responsible for the delivery of AW139, AW189 and other types as required Theoretical Knowledge Instruction (TKI), Simulated Flight Instruction (FI), and other training assignments, in as much as the development of training material as required/assigned by GHTA HT.

    The SFI may also be tasked other training related assignments as per GHTA HT directives

     

    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    • The GHTA SFI shall provide services to GHTA as laid down below:
    • He/she will be responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of training material as required/assigned by GHTA Head of Training (HT).  This includes, but restricted to, Pilot, Engineering and Staff training material/courses in support of and to meet the requirements of Gulf Helicopters Company (internal client) and external clients/customers.
    • He/she shall
    • Maintain training material, training manuals and aids, for currency and relevancy of the assigned courses.
    • Assist in the design, development, and delivery/invigilating of examinations as assigned.
    • Ensure that the assigned training programs are kept updated as per revisions from the authority, GHC, clients, and/or supplier materials as assigned/applicable.
    • Ensure that all Airworthiness Data required for training, published by the regulatory authority and manufacturer’s is current and up to date as assigned/applicable.
    • Carry out any other duties as tasked by the Head of Training, GHTA, or his representative
    • Primary, the work schedule is flexible and variable and shall total 44.0 working hours per week.  The SFI is entitled for 01 day off per week, adjustable to GHTA training needs.
    • Primary work location is GHTA, Doha, Qatar.  Additionally, GHTA SFI may be required to conduct training in other locations than GHTA (in which case travel/accommodation expenses will be covered as per the Company’s policies), and/or online training remotely as per clients’ requests.

    • Other aircraft types as required by GHTA (AS350; BH206; BH412; S92; etc.). 
    • Have theory instruction experience on the AS350/AW139/AW189/BH206/BH412/ S92 (and eventually other aircraft) type rating related courses, and also operational supporting courses and training as required (i.e. DG, SMS, MCC, CRM, Security, DG, etc.).
    • English proficient (written, reading, and oral forms) to ELP Level 6 or equivalent.
    • Have proof of an Instructional Techniques course or qualification as required/applicable.

     

    Skills

    Must have experience and knowledge on a wide range of aviation disciplines.
    Must have a high level of computer literacy skills in the use of the internal, word processing, presentation software, spreadsheets and databases using the Microsoft suite of programmes.

    Job Objective

    HUMS-Technicians report directly to the Aircraft Supervisor (Line) and are responsible for carrying out the assigned HUMS data download tasks on AW139 and AW189 helicopters in GHC Doha base fleet.

    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    Description

    • Performing the HUMS data download for all helicopters equipped with HUMS in conjunction with the post flight inspection.
    • Ensure that completed tasks are certified in the relevant documentation to standards specified in Company procedures.
    • Perform any other non-aircraft related duties as may be requested by the Aircraft Supervisor (Line).
    •  Check GHC Falcon system for any outstanding HUMS related Engineering order
    • Comply with all issued and forecasted relevant engineering forms (ENG 205) at the applicable (due) time.

Issue & send (by email) to the HUMS Data Analyst relevant engineering forms (ENG 204) for any newly detected exceedance.
    • Post compliance with any relevant engineering forms (ENG 205) and, as indicated in the form, the Aircraft Supervisor must inform the HUMS Data Analyst with the compliance by completing the relevant engineering forms (ENG 204) using the same reference number and a consecutive letter for revision status as viewed on the HUMS index ENG 206.
    •  Send the completed relevant engineering form (ENG 204) via e-mail to the HUMS Data Analyst updating GHC AW139 HUMS Data Form Index ENG 206 for any newly issued engineering form (ENG 204).
    •  Report to the HUMS Data Analyst any discrepancy on the Heliwise
    • Generate AW139 Daily HUMS Report. Email to Maintenance Manager, Senior Maintenance Supervisor, Line Supervisor, CAMO Manager, Production and Maintenance Planner and HUMS Data Analyst. This can be utilized for daily handover.
    • Download the HUMS after each ground run and/or test flight of the aircraft and inform HUMS Data Analyst after the download.  This is to confirm that no step change on the HUMS Cls’ occurred after maintenance.

    Qualifications, Experience & Skills

    Qualifications:

    • Secondary Education
    • Certification from associated institution an added advantage
    • Basic HUMS Training course.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years on one of the companies operated aircraft.

    Job-Specific Skills:

    • Able to work under pressure and in harsh weather conditions
    • Good understanding of technical manuals
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft office
    • Oral and written communication
    • Fluent in English
    • Good hand skills
